The International Collaborative for Science, Education & Environment (ICSEE), As part of the implementation of the “Renewable Energy for Sustainable Transformation of the Rural Economy (RESTORE)” Project, ICSEE -Project is seeking to hire one Program Manager & Monitoring & Evaluation Expert. Program Manager & Monitoring & Evaluation Expert to be based in Mto wambu Monduli District.

1 . Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) Officer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) Officer to support the implementation of the “Renewable Energy for Sustainable Transformation of the Rural Economy (RESTORE)” Project in Mto wa mbu- Monduli District. The M&E Officer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing the project’s M&E system, ensuring that data is collected, analyzed, and used to inform project decision sand improve project outcomes. 

 Responsibilities

  • He/she manages the overall implementation and coordination of the project.
  • He/she sets the strategic direction, manages resources and facilitates communication between team members and stakeholders. 
  • He/she is responsible for keeping the project on track, achieving the objectives and delivering the results effectively. 
  • Ensure that the M&E system is aligned with the project’s logical framework and objectives. 
  • He/she will Collaborate with project staff to ensure effective financial management. 
  • He /she will assist in budgeting and forecasting for project activities. 
  • Prepare regular M&E reports, including progress reports, quarterly reports, and annual reports.
  • Coordinate with other M&E staff to ensure that M&E activities are aligned with ICSEE organization and donor requirements.

Qualifications:

  • Diploma or bachelor’s degree in M&E project, or a related field. 
  • At least 2 years of experience in M&E management.
  • Strong understanding of financial regulations and policies.
  • Excellent analytical and organizational skills. 
  • Strong knowledge of M&E principles, practices, and tools 
  •  Ability to work in a team and manage multiple priorities

2 . Project Officer 

 Responsibilities: 

  • As part of the implementation of the “Renewable Energy for Sustainable Transformation of the Rural
    Economy (RESTORE)” Project, ICSEE -Project is seeking to hire one Project Officer to be based in Babati District and manage and supervise the RESTORE project in four community’s area in Babati.
  • In close collaboration with the Program Manager & Monitoring & Evaluation Expert, the Project Officer will be responsible for coordinating and implementing project activities within his respective district, working under the supervision of the Program Manager & Monitoring & Evaluation Expert.
  • Will also work closely with ICSEE staff, the NGO partner of KAKUTE, in the implementation of the RESTORE project.
  • Will be responsible for coordinating and implementing project activities, managing project plans and ensuring that project objectives are met in Babati District
  • Will work closely with stakeholders, community members, and team members, and attend quarterly project meetings

Qualifications:

  • Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Development Studies, Environmental Science, or a related field.
  • At least 2 years of experience in project management or implementation.
  • Knowledge and experience in renewable energy solutions (previous work experience in this field is preferred).
  • Proficient in computer tools (Word, Excel, etc.).
  • Fluent in English and Swahili: knowledge of local languages an added advantage
