A total of at least five tornadoes were confirmed to have touched down in the state overnight and early Tuesday morning, according to the National Weather Service.
Millions of Americans across Kansas and other Midwestern states Iowa, Nebraska and Missouri are still under storm warnings as more tornadoes remain possible.
In Iowa, one reported tornado tore an almost 7-mile path that inflicted minor damage to houses and land across the county.
Across all four states, more than 20,000 electric outages were reported on Tuesday, with Missouri being the worst affected.
