TAX MANAGER
Bachelor degree in Accounting, Finance, business
A minimum of 5 years of experience in Tax
managemnt or economics.

A masters degree in Tax Law, Tax Administration, Fiscal

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
Ensure timely preparation of returns for all
taxes that the company, its subsidiaries and
sister companies have with the tax
authorities.
Maintain an up-to-date tax payments
calendar and ensure timely filing of relevant
tax returns and payment of tax and statutory
deductions.
Ensure monthly reconciliation of all direct
and indirect tax accounts and all key Tax
Controls over taxation unit.
Proper management of Tanzania Revenue
Authority’s Taxpayer Online Portal and
Zanzibar Revenue Authority’s Online Portal.
Maintain strong professional relationships
with Tax contacts in both Tanzania Revenue
Authority(TRA), Zanzibar Revenue Authority
(ZRA)and other key taxing, regulating and
government authorities.
Ensure monthly corporate income tax and
deferred tax computations and provision of
tax amounts for booking in the chart of
accounts.
CORE COMPETENCIES
Knowledge of Tax Laws, Regulations and Tax
Practices in both Tanzania Mainland and Zanzibar.
Strong analytical skills.
Problem-solving attitude coupled with highest degree of ownership and commitment.
