Worcs 78-4 v Durham 244
Jake Libby takes a two from Matty Potts’ first ball and survives an lbw shout with the fourth before stumps.
Durham have fought back well on day one as Worcestershire close four down, still trailing by 166 runs.
The visitors looked in serious peril when they slumped to 141-7 after opting to bat first.
But an excellent counter-attack from Ollie Robinson (55), Ben Raine (43) and Matt Potts (22*) helped them post 244.
They carried the momentum into Worcestershire’s first knock, reducing the hosts to 9-2.
Libby (35*) and Rob Jones (32) led the fightback, but Durham struck twice to leave the Pears precariously positioned at 78-4.
