We are seeking a highly skilled Inventory Auditor to join our team. The Inventory Auditor will be responsible for conducting regular audits of our inventory systems to ensure accuracy, compliance with regulatory standards, and adherence to company policies and procedures. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining the integrity of our inventory data and identifying areas for improvement in our inventory management processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular audits of inventory records, including physical counts and reconciliation with electronic inventory systems.
- Identify discrepancies, errors, or inconsistencies in inventory data and investigate root causes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including warehouse staff, procurement, and finance, to resolve inventory discrepancies and implement corrective actions.
- Develop and maintain audit procedures and documentation to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and internal controls.
- Analyze inventory trends and recommend strategies for optimizing inventory levels, reducing shrinkage, and improving inventory accuracy.
- Stay informed about industry best practices and emerging trends in inventory management and auditing.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
- years of experience in inventory auditing or related field.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Salary Range:
The salary range for this position is N350,000 – N450,000
