Job Summary/Objective:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced In-House IT Trainer to join our dynamic team.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and delivering effective training programs
to our employees, ensuring that they are well-versed in the latest IT technologies and tools. The IT Trainer will play a crucial role in enhancing our workforce’s technical skills and promoting a culture of continuous learning.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver comprehensive IT training programs to employees, covering a range
of topics such as software applications, cybersecurity, hardware, and IT best practices - Conduct needs assessments to identify training gaps and customize training programs
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand specific departmental needs and tailor training content to address those requirements.
- Stay abreast of the latest trends and developments in the IT industry to ensure training materials are up-to-date and relevant.
- Provide one-on-one or small group training sessions as needed.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through assessments and feedback, making necessary adjustments for continuous improvement.
- Create and maintain training documentation, manuals, and multimedia visual aids.
- Assist in the onboarding process by providing IT orientation to new employees.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Proven experience as an IT Trainer or similar role.
- In-depth knowledge of IT systems, applications, and infrastructure.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent presentation and public speaking abilities.
- Ability to adapt training methods to suit different learning styles.
- Certification in training or instructional design is a plus.
Key Requirements:
- Proficiency in using training software and tools.
- Familiarity with e-learning platforms.
- Strong organisational and time-management skills.
Work Environment:
- This position is based in our Tanzania office.
- The work environment is collaborative, and the IT
- Trainer will be required to travel for training sessions to Kenya and South Africa
