Job Overview
As the Credit Operations Lead, will be responsible for overseeing and managing the day-to-day operations of the credit department, focusing on efficient credit assessment, recovery strategies, and team management. will lead a team of ground and tele collection agents, develop credit policies, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities:
1- Oversee daily credit operations, ensuring efficient processing of credit applications and adherence to policies.
2- Develop and execute action plans for effective credit recovery and minimizing bad debt.
3- Make informed decisions on credit approvals and credit limits based on risk evaluations.
4- Develop and train collection agents to enhance their skills and improve debt recovery outcomes.
5- Develop, review, and update credit policies and procedures.
6- Conduct periodic market visits to audit collection agents’ performance and ensure adherence to collection policies.
Required Qualifications:
1- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
2- Proven experience (3-4 years) in credit operations, credit risk assessment, or a related field.
3- Strong understanding of credit analysis techniques, financial statements, and credit scoring models.
4- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
5- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Working Conditions:
1- Typically works in an office environment, but may require travel for market visits.
2- May involve occasional overtime to meet deadlines or address operational needs
