JOB PURPOSE
The Business Analyst will support smartphone business operations under the guidance of the Sales Manager. This role involves analyzing and providing insights for business improvements and supporting the Sales, Marketing, and Customer Service teams. Key responsibilities include monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs) and sharing operational status reports, identifying underperforming areas, and researching new opportunities in existing and emerging markets. The candidate will create value for agents and customers by leveraging existing business assets, such as the kiosk network, marketing team coverage, and customer service relationships.

Market Research and Analysis:
- Conduct research and SWOT analysis to identify market trends and opportunities.
Data Management:
- Develop and maintain databases with internal/external partners, visualize data for stakeholders, and analyze data to offer insightful suggestions for decision-making while ensuring data quality and integrity.
Performance Metrics:
- Define, monitor, and report on key performance metrics to track the success of business development efforts.
Reporting and Documentation:
- Prepare and maintain regular reports for the operations team and management to track progress and performance.
Collaboration:
- Work with sales leaders, CS leaders, and management heads to identify process improvement opportunities, propose KPI modifications, and devise strategies for business improvements.
Operation Design and Support:
- Design, analyze, and update standard operating procedures related to smartphone businesses to improve efficiency and productivity.
Planning and Monitoring:
- Plan sales, costs, profits, installations, and payment collections and monitor actual results against targets with the Sales & Marketing Manager and the management team.
Meeting Facilitation:
- Set agendas, facilitate meetings, lead discussions, and prepare minutes, including action items, for regular smartphone business meetings.
Academic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Statistics, Data Science, or any other related field.
Professional Experience:
- At least 3 years of proven experience in business development, statistics, sales, or a related role.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.

Internal Customers:
- All managers and team leaders in the Tanzania branch.
- All sales leaders, CS leaders, and WASSHA employees.
External Customers:
- All WASSHA agents, customers, and other partners in the smartphone business.
