What this role is about?
The primary duties of this role include overseeing and supporting either a portion or the entire portfolio of the virtual team’s applications spread across various locations. This responsibility extends to implementing and supporting solutions under the Consumer Centric capability area across the region, requiring collaboration with team members to standardize processes and enhance productivity.
The candidate is expected to develop their technical and project delivery skills using available tools, particularly in the field of ERP, Salesforce automation and digital e-commerce platforms.
An important aspect of the role is ensuring that external service providers and contractors adhere to their commitments and stay within the allocated budget.
What will you do?
- Lead projects to adapt and implement centralized systems at the regional or local level. It encompasses comprehensive planning and management of these projects, including data migration, coordinating internal and external resources, and managing the transition to operational status
- Proactively collaborate with business stakeholders and D&IT partners. This collaboration aims to improve existing capabilities or develop a clear understanding of new capability requirements. It involves working closely with the Virtual Team Lead to identify and integrate suitable tools into the strategic roadmap and managing the process of introducing new solutions
- Continuously monitor technological advancements within JTI and in the wider market. They are responsible for identifying and presenting these advancements to business partners, exploring potential innovations within the virtual team’s area of responsibility
- Lead and manage specific changes and projects, occasionally including related teams, to ensure their successful execution. This role requires adherence to JTI’s Project Management Framework, D&IT standards, policies, procedures, J-Sox controls, and industry best practices, ensuring compliance with JTI D&IT and Corporate governance standards
What are we looking for?
- 8+ years of experience in the IT discipline with 3+ of those years in IT Management of Business Solutions/ Application teams (including people management where relevant)
- ERP & Salesforce Automations experience is a must
- Good knowledge on SQL Data Query, Analytics and Visualization using PowerBI
- B2B / B2C solutions (Online Sales, Loyalty, and payment systems , consumer engagement).
- Good working knowledge of business and related processes in the FMCG industry.
- Application Knowledge in ServiceNow
- Experience in at least 2 of the following new technology trends Microsoft Power Platform (PowerApps, PowerBi, Power Automate)
- Knowledge of Microsoft Data Lake and Data Warehouse technologies
- Business requirements analysis & process documentation
- Good financial and budgetary understanding
- Previous working experience with Agile / Hybrid Project management methodologies (medium to large scale projects)
- Excellent Business relationship management capabilities
- Proven Digital & E-commerce experience/knowledge would be a huge asset
- Ability to articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences, backed by strong analytical and creative problem-solving skills
- Adaptability to recent technologies and rapidly changing environments, commitment to ongoing professional development, and staying updated with industry trends
- Fluency in English, both written and spoken is mandatory
