Laila Wasti is a brilliant and talented Pakistani television actress. She began her career with PTV from drama Aitraf. The actress is the daughter of famous graceful media couple Rizwan Wasti and Tahira Wasti who were stars of their time. She spent most of her time in USA. The actress is happily married. Laila recently made a comeback in the media industry and is gaining a huge popularity .
A video of Laila Wasti is circulating on YouTube in which she talked about the last moments of her mother actress Tahira Wasti, with Rabia Mughni. She also opened up about her knee replacement surgery.
Talking about it, she said, “When I just had my knee replacement surgery, my mother called me and said, ‘I don’t have anyone at home for help.’ I heard a word of complaint from my mother and got emotional. I instantly planned and came to meet her despite my bad health situation. I spent a month with my mother. She got well soon after seeing me. After that, my brother came, but then in March, she again said, ‘I think my time has come.’ I just took the flight to Pakistan and was with her during her last moments. Maria Wasti and all my cousins were with me. I decided that I would not let the media and outsiders see my mother’s face. I was already upset because the news about my mother’s health was circulating. You had seen her on screen all her life, now, why do you want to see her in her last moments? I decided to send her to the cold storage just because of all the people outside the hospital. She breathed her last while looking into my eyes. Also, I just allowed a few family people including my Khala (aunt) to see her face. I was the younger but soon after her death I started taking all these decisions”. She also said that the media started calling her for interviews after three days of her mother’s death, which was quite an insensitive thing. Here is the link to the video:
