Overview:
As the Director of Sales, you will play a pivotal role in developing and executing sales strategies to maximise revenue generation and market share for our client’s hotel chain. You will lead a team of sales professionals, foster strategic partnerships, and leverage your expertise to ensure the achievement of their business objectives.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement comprehensive sales plans and strategies to achieve revenue targets and market penetration goals.
- Lead, mentor, and motivate a high-performing sales team to exceed targets and deliver exceptional results.
- Identify new business opportunities and cultivate relationships with key clients, corporate accounts, and industry stakeholders.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotional campaigns and initiatives to drive sales and brand awareness.
- Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
- Prepare and present regular sales performance reports and forecasts to senior management.
Requirements:
- Proven track record of success in sales leadership roles within the hospitality or banking industry.
- Minimum 5-7 years of relevant experience in a leadership role, demonstrating a consistent ability to exceed sales targets and drive business growth.
- Strong understanding of sales techniques, market dynamics, and customer relationship management.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to inspire and motivate teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Hospitality Management, or a related field. MBA or equivalent qualifications preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, PMS and CRM software.
