Overview:
As the Administrative Officer, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth functioning of administrative processes and procedures within the school. You will provide administrative support to various departments, manage office operations, and assist in coordinating school activities and events.
Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day administrative tasks, including answering phones, responding to emails, and handling correspondence.
- Maintain accurate records including student records, attendance, and staff information.
- Assist in coordinating school events and meetings including scheduling, logistics, and communication.
- Assist in managing school facilities and equipment, including maintenance, inventory, and procurement of supplies.
- Handle financial transactions, including processing invoices, petty cash management, and reconciling expenses.
- Assist in communicating with parents, students, and external stakeholders, providing information and assistance as needed.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in administrative roles, preferably in an educational setting.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with staff, students, parents, and external stakeholders.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other office software.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Education, or a related field is preferred.
- Knowledge of school management systems and educational software is an advantage.
