Such wide coverage also ensures rural farmers have easy and reliable access to the inputs they require to improve their farming. 

POSITION: Agrochemical Product Development Manager/Consultant 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES 

1. Perform product analysis on agricultural pesticides including insecticides, herbicides, fungicides and nematicides’) and synthetic fertilizers
2. Conduct scientific product need assessment. 
3. Work closely with manufactures 
4. Undertake quality controls
5. work with the regulator on importation of Agrochemical
6. Pesticide inspections on pesticide dealers and applicators and complete accurate and detailed reports to ensure compliance with laws and regulations.
7. Inspect and verify agricultural chemical imports.
8. Promote, negotiate, and suggest new products to improve the market.
9. New product development.

QUALIFICATIONS 

• Diploma or bachelor degree preferably in Agrochemical engineering or any other related program from recognized institute.
• A minimum of 5 years’ experience in Agrichemical industry
