POSITION: Laboratory Technician II – 2 Posts, Moshi
Position Summary:
The Laboratory Technician will support the TB Laboratory Unit by performing routine laboratory activities.
Education, Skills, and Experience:
- Diploma in Laboratory Science or Laboratory Technology
- Experience in a TB Laboratory
- Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Sample collection, preparation, and storage
- Smear preparation and examination
- Maintain laboratory equipment and inventory
- Ensure laboratory biosafety regulations are followed
Age: Not above 45 years old
Additional Information:
Salary: As per Treasury Registrar’s Circular No. 6 of 2022
Terms of Contract: 1-year contract (includes a 6-month probation period), renewable based on performance and funding
