Manager of Business Operations
Qualifications, Knowledge, Experience
- Education: Holder of Master’s Degree in Finance and Investment, Banking, Banking and Finance, Accountancy, Economics, Agricultural Economics, Banking, Banking and Finance, Accountancy, Economics, Agricultural Economics, Finance, or equivalent qualification from any recognized institution.
- Experience: Working experience of at least eight (8) years in a related field and should be at a senior position.
Nature and Scope
- Location: 1 Vacancy at Head Office; 2 Vacancies in Lake Zone and Southern Highlands.
- Reporting To: Zonal Manager.
Key Responsibilities
- Operational Efficiency:
- Oversee, coordinate, direct, and provide guidance on operations-related activities by developing and implementing operational procedures to ensure operational efficiency.
- Business Process/Re-engineering:
- Facilitate business process/re-engineering by automating the bank’s operations.
- Performance Management:
- Manage performance by setting clear, measurable, and attainable performance goals and resolving problems that may impact unit and operations function performance.
- Administration:
- Manage office supplies stock and place orders.
- Prepare regular reports on expenses and office budgets.
- Maintain and update the customer database.
- Organize a filing system for records team management.
- Maintain the calendar and schedule appointments for meetings as directed by the supervisor.
- Distribute and store correspondence (e.g., letters, emails, and packages).
- Prepare reports and presentations as assigned.
- Coordinate travel and accommodations.
- Schedule in-house and external events.
- Coordinate car vehicles, fueling, and reporting.
- Customer Service:
- Provide efficient and effective assistance and support to bank customers and attend to all administration issues at the zone.
- Maintain and enhance communication with Business Development Officers and customers to facilitate the flow of information and foster cooperation.
- Compliance and Controls:
- Ensure proper controls, processes, and procedures are adhered to at all times as per the laid-down TADB bank policies, Business Continuity Plan (BCP) implementation, and disaster recovery coordination.
- Other Duties:
- Perform any other duties as assigned by the Managing Director.
