POSITION TITLE: SENIOR SOCIAL WELFARE OFFICER -1 POST
Entry Qualifications
Must be a Tanzanian Citizen who is a holder of a Bachelor Degree in one of the following fields : Social Work, Social Welfare, Psychology, Sociology, Guidance and Counselling or equivalent qualifications from recognized with a work experience of atleast seven (7) years.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- To supervise coordination of local community participation in matters relating to maintenance and development of roads;
- To conduct social impacts assessment (SIA) of projects;
- To prepare resettlement plans;
- Develops community awareness programmes on maintenance and development of road network; and
- To perform such other related duties as may be assigned by the Supervisor.
GENERAL CONDITIONS.
Successful applicants must be ready to work for considerable length of time in Kagera District where the project is located.
Terms of Service:
- The Terms of Employment: Specified Contract for 1 year
- Salary: TANROADS Salary scale with other site allowances as per TANROADS Incentive Policy
