Position; Restaurant Supervisor

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Restaurant Supervisor located in Kilimanjaro . The Restaurant Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Duties will include;

Overseeing the day-to-day operations of the restaurant to ensure efficiency and profitability.
Training and supervising staff – waitress and barman.
Managing inventory and ordering supplies as needed.
Ensuring high standards of cleanliness, sanitation, and safety are maintained throughout the restaurant.
Handling customer complaints and resolving issues to the satisfaction of the customers.
Ensuring compliance with licensing, health, and safety regulations in the restaurant.
Coordinating with kitchen staff to ensure that orders are prepared in a timely manner.
Providing excellent customer service to enhance the dining experience.
Performing administrative tasks such as shift scheduling and performance evaluations.
Financial control of restaurant operation

Qualifications

Supervisory skills, including experience managing staff
Strong customer service skills and a dedication to maintaining customer satisfaction
Excellent communication skills, including the ability to communicate effectively with staff and customers
Experience in the food and beverage industry, including knowledge of industry standards and regulations
A passion for delivering high-quality food and service
A degree in Hospitality, Restaurant Management, or a related field is preferred
Fluent in English, fluency in Swahili is a plus
