Position: Android App Develovers – 4 Positions

Jumla Africa is the leading agriculture distributor in Tanzania.  The company has 16 warehouses across more than half of the regions of Tanzania.  The company sells quality, authentic, and fair-priced products to over 250 stockists (local retail shops).  Jumla Africa’s wide coverage allows agriculture producers and manufacturers to reach extensive coverage of Tanzania with a single trusted distributor. Such wide coverage also ensures rural farmers have easy and reliable access to the inputs they require to improve their farming.

POSITION: ANDROID APP DEVELOPER (4 POSTS)

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES 

• Maintain and develop android apps that interact with the existing Management Information System. 
• Collaborate with sales and marketing teams on data requirements as well as feature requests. 
• Participate in training to teams whenever necessary. 
• Write clean and maintainable code and ensure it is testable with clear scenarios. 

QUALIFICATIONS 

• Diploma or bachelor degree in Computer Science, IT, software engineering,
  Computer engineering or any related field.
• Experience in Android Development, particularly JAVA/Kotlin.
• Knowledge and experience in PHP, MYSQL, JavaScript and GIT is an added
  advantage.
• Ability to adapt to new technologies and eager to learn
• Very Strong debugging skills
• Fluent in both English and Swahili
