Assistant Librarian
Number of Positions: 1
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Perform routine professional and supervisory duties.
- Administer library records and references.
- Undertake bibliographical services.
- Head subsections within the library.
- Manage routine ordering and processing of books.
- Assist Heads of Sections in ensuring the smooth operation of the library and information services provided by library assistants.
- Ensure the safekeeping of tools, machines, and equipment entrusted for library services.
- Perform any other duties assigned by the reporting officer.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Library/Records/Information Sciences from a recognized institution.
Experience: At least two years of experience in a similar position.
