CHIPOLOPOLO GEAR UP FOR BATTLE OF THE ZAMBEZI

The Chipolopolo boys have been warming up in the ‘Warm Heart of Africa’ ahead of Saturday’s clash with the Warriors of Zimbabwe in the opening match of the Four Nations tournament hosted by Malawi.

Coach Avram Grant led his bullets through an intense session at the well-tended to Ascent Academy on the fringes of Lilongwe.

Zambia had the added incentive of winning possible new fans that utilized any imaginable vantage point to catch a glimpse of the Chipolopolo in training.

The Chipolopolo will play Zimbabwe at 14:00 hours at the Bingu National Stadium on Saturday before the host nation face the Harambee Stars of Kenya at 17:00 hours.

Winners of the two matches will duel with each other on Tuesday in the final at 17:00 hours while the losers will face off at 14:00 hours for the third and fourth play-off.
