Overview: 

As the Director of Sales, you will play a pivotal role in developing and executing sales strategies to maximise revenue generation and market share for our client’s hotel chain. You will lead a team of sales professionals, foster strategic partnerships, and leverage your expertise to ensure the achievement of their business objectives.

Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement comprehensive sales plans and strategies to achieve revenue targets and market penetration goals.
  2. Lead, mentor, and motivate a high-performing sales team to exceed targets and deliver exceptional results.
  3. Identify new business opportunities and cultivate relationships with key clients, corporate accounts, and industry stakeholders.
  4. Collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotional campaigns and initiatives to drive sales and brand awareness.
  5. Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
  6. Prepare and present regular sales performance reports and forecasts to senior management.

Requirements:

  • Proven track record of success in sales leadership roles within the hospitality or banking industry.
  • Minimum 5-7 years of relevant experience in a leadership role, demonstrating a consistent ability to exceed sales targets and drive business growth.
  • Strong understanding of sales techniques, market dynamics, and customer relationship management.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to inspire and motivate teams.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Hospitality Management, or a related field. MBA or equivalent qualifications preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, PMS and CRM software.
