Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Estate Surveyor to join our team. The Estate Surveyor will be responsible for providing expert advice on all aspects of property and land management. This includes conducting valuations, negotiating sales and leases, managing properties, and providing consultancy services to clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of property markets, excellent communication and negotiation skills, and the ability to provide sound advice to clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Property Valuation: Conduct thorough property valuations using relevant methodologies and market data to determine accurate property values.
- Sales and Leasing: Market and negotiate the sale and lease of properties on behalf of clients, ensuring optimal terms and conditions are achieved.
- Property Management: Oversee the management of properties, including rent collection, maintenance, tenant relations, and lease agreements.
- Client Consultation: Provide expert advice and consultancy services to clients on property investment, development opportunities, market trends, and legal requirements.
- Market Analysis: Stay abreast of market trends, property developments, and legislation affecting the real estate industry, providing regular updates and insights to clients.
- Due Diligence: Conduct thorough due diligence on properties, including title searches, zoning regulations, environmental assessments, and property inspections.
- Negotiation: Negotiate with property owners, buyers, tenants, and other stakeholders to achieve favorable outcomes for clients.
- Documentation: Prepare and review legal documents, contracts, and agreements related to property transactions, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Networking: Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders in the real estate industry, including property developers, investors, financial institutions, and government agencies.
- Client Relationship Management: Cultivate and nurture long-term relationships with clients, providing exceptional customer service and addressing any concerns or issues promptly.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Estate Management, Real Estate, or a related field.
- Professional certification from a recognized institution,
- 1-3 years of experience
- Proven experience as an Estate Surveyor, with a strong track record of successful property transactions.
- In-depth knowledge of property valuation methods, real estate laws and regulations, and market trends.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in relevant software applications, including property management systems and valuation tools.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a high level of integrity and professionalism.
