Job Title: Field Supervisor

Reporting Line Manager: Zonal Operations Manager

Department: Operations

Role Purpose:

The FMS will provide efficient and effective management of all the passive infrastructure maintenance performed by the O&M partner on HTX owned and managed sites.

Key Responsibilities

1. Develops the skill sets of the assigned Field Maintenance Engineers (FME) with individual technical development plans.
2. Runs the daily standard day meeting with their F
3. Performs daily review of SN completed PMWO and raises any non-compliance issues.
4. Ensures that the PM team has the necessary tools to complete the maintenance as per the (HT-TC-SOP-MAINT-001)
5. Ensures that PM teams on their assigned sites comply with 1SVM or other regimes as defined by HTX in the monthly PM/FW plan.
6. Delivers the SLA levels for assigned sites.
7. Implements the Standard Operations Procedures on assigned sites. (HT-TC-SOP- MAINT-001)
8. Ensures compliance to the use of SN
9. Carry out daily SWO review meetings with their PM team (FE’s)
10. Validate the open SWO in the SN, covers SWO actual needs, its description and material quantity dema
11. Daily review site SN and SWO dashboard + actions from previous site preventive maintenance.
12. Attends daily SWO Dashboard meeting in the Zone.
13. Ensures SWOs are carried out as per the SWO pla
14. Carries out site audits (PMA) with the PM team (FE) at site through use of Helios SOP.
15. Create and communicate to ZoM a proper plan for FE skills set improvement
16. Deliver the site OPEX savings by verifying the site monthly savings amount expected in comparison to site initial business case.
17. Ensures that spare stock level are at acceptable level to support the team ( at least 1-month)
18. Uses the SWO parts demand planner and works closely with the MP Stores Supervisor to ensure that sites under the FMS supervision have sufficient spares and consumables to execute the maintenance as planned
19. Ensure that correct OEM or other approved spares and consumables are used on the assigned sites.
20. Ensure all open SWO are closed-complete during the site PMWO as per its priority SLA and daily SWO plan from dash-board
21. Ensures that data and drawings in Red-cube are up to
22. Ensures that sites handed over by Projects are compliant to the approved des
23. Review sites and FME overall performance based on SN dashboard and zone weekly performance report generated from RNO
24. Ensures all sites under their supervision meet the optimised fuel consumption leve
25. Leads detailed, correct root cause analysis (RCA) and qualifies the integrity of the RCA with his field engineer (FE) where required.
26. Verify sites electrical installations in compliance to Helios standard and accurate block diagram complete with compliant ta
27. Conduct FE weekly vehicle check list to verify all standard spares & working tools
28. Ensures that the PM teams and assigned sites are compliant to SHEQ policies.
29. Takes part in Business Excellence teams to improve site performance.
30. Spends time in the RNOC to assist operators with any technical issues.
31. Holds weekly SHEQ tool box talks with the PM teams.
32. All other duties deemed necessary for the successful delivery of the job

SHEQ

1. SHEQ Compliance on all Projects
2. Reporting any identified Near miss, Hazards and SHEQ Non conformities to NEWL SHEQ Manager
3. To report at least one (1) near miss and one (1) hazard each month
4. To ensure no planned work is undertaken without (Field Level Risk Assessment) preparation and communication
5. To report any incident/property damage within 24hrs
6. Shall cooperate with SHEQ team during occupation incidents and accidents reporting and investigation once required

Knowledge

Familiar with proper installation procedures for power infrastructure and reticulation at BTS sites.
Competent to ensure integration of power infrastructure and conduct acceptance tests.
Ensure constant tracking, monitoring, and providing support to the O&M contractors in resolving persistent, reoccurring faults using approved processes, procedures and OEM OPIs.
Computer literate and familiar with MS word, Power Point, Excel and Visio.

Qualification & Work Experience:

Bachelor Degree in Telecommunications/Electrical/ Mechanical Engineering preferred and or
Ordinary/Advanced Diploma in Telecommunications/Electrical/ Mechanical Engineering
Not less than 3 years in Telecommunications Industry
EWURA License
ERB License
Valid Driving License
Strong IT skills particularly in use of Excel and Project Management reporting tools
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers
Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service
Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices
