Inventory Audit Supervisor

We are seeking a meticulous and experienced Inventory Audit Supervisor to oversee all aspects of inventory auditing processes. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and leadership abilities to effectively manage a team of auditors.
 
Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement inventory audit procedures to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Coordinate and lead inventory audit activities, including planning, scheduling, and execution of audits across multiple locations.
  • Conduct periodic physical inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies with inventory records.
  • Analyze audit findings and identify areas for process improvement to enhance inventory accuracy and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including warehouse, procurement, and finance departments, to resolve inventory-related issues and implement best practices.
  • Train and mentor audit team members to enhance their skills and knowledge in inventory auditing techniques.
  • Prepare comprehensive audit reports detailing findings, recommendations, and corrective actions for management review.
  • Ensure adherence to internal controls and compliance with audit standards, policies, and procedures.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Proven experience 8-10 years in inventory auditing, preferably in a supervisory role.
  • Strong understanding of inventory control principles, auditing standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Proficiency in using inventory management software and MS Office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and ERP softwares.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal abilities, with the capacity to interact with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Leadership qualities with the ability to motivate and inspire a team to achieve audit objectives.
