The Operations team at Bolt holds the full responsibility for strategy, marketplace health and growth of our Ride-Hailing Business in Tanzania. About The Role
As Operations Specialist, you’ll be involved in managing our business operations, collaborating with internal and external stakeholders and ultimately taking ownership as a marketplace manager, leading your city. You will have full ownership of metrics and forecasts, analyze quantitative & qualitative data from various sources, while defining and executing your city strategy.
Your daily adventures will include:
Be the lead of your city by constantly reviewing core metrics, forming bonds with key partners and executing your supply-, demand- and investment strategy
Creating, optimizing or even removing processes – efficiency is our priority; you will help us find the smoothest way to run operations, solve challenges where others turn away, and influence the way Bolt is going in the future
Hands-on supply management – working autonomously and taking initiatives through the stages of driver and fleet acquisition, conversion, activation and retention
Taking over own projects which contribute to our overall market performance and operational efficiency with the main goal to get Bolt rides in Germany to the next level
About you:
You have 2+ years of experience Operations, Startup or other relevant organizations, ideally with experience in analytic tasks
You are a strong collaborator with excellent communication skills (both verbal and written) in Swahili and English
You are highly analytical and have a data-driven mindset with excellent Excel/Google Sheets skills, yet are not afraid to get your hands dirty if needed
You love to have ownership and are not afraid of managing multi-million € cities
You have a strong motivation to solve problems creatively and efficiently
You thrive in a fast-paced environment
You are customer-oriented and will strive to strengthen our value proposition to ensure supply growth
