You have to admire their [Manchester United fans’] loyalty. Home and away, turning up, getting behind
the team.

They’re a team of moments rather than momentum, like
Liverpool for much of this season. Arsenal, clearly a team of momentum.
Manchester City, that muscle memory, they have that momentum, but Manchester
United don’t and that’s why they’re trailing. You’ll have wonderful moments from Garnacho, Kobbie Mainoo’s goal in front of England’s assistant coach shows why he will probably start at the Euros.

They do have these flashes of
brilliance. Bruno Fernandes’ goal was fantastic. A mistake by Quansah, and
maybe Kanati will come back in and you do have strength in depth. But Quansah, fair to him, teenage centre back, what a season
he’s had, so they exploited that.

But they’re just a team of moments, and it
will be interesting to see if Ten Hag survives the summer.
