About the Role:
This is a full-time, remote position where you’ll collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, and marketing teams to design and implement exceptional user experiences across our suite of software products.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct user research to understand user needs and pain points.
- Translate user research into actionable design solutions through wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups.
- Collaborate with engineers and product managers to ensure designs are feasible and aligned with product goals.
- Participate in the design sprint process to rapidly iterate and test design concepts.
- Maintain a strong understanding of design trends and best practices, including both user interface (UI) and traditional graphic design principles.
- Craft compelling visual experiences that elevate our brand identity.
- Utilize your skills in digital illustration and animation to enhance the user experience where appropriate.
- Create and maintain design documentation for consistency and future reference.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2+ years of experience as a Product Designer or similar role.
- Proven ability to translate user research into user-centered design solutions.
- Strong understanding of design principles (interaction design, visual design, information architecture).
- Proficiency in design tools like Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
- A passion for data-driven design and a growth mindset.
Bonus points for:
- Experience designing for web and mobile applications.
- Understanding of UI accessibility best practices.
- Experience with prototyping tools (e.g., InVision, ProtoPie).
- A portfolio showcasing your design process, past projects, and your traditional and digital design capabilities.
