Job Description

We are seeking a driven and results-oriented Sales Manager to lead the procurement and global sales of unrefined shea butter. You will play a key role in expanding our client base, focusing on pharmaceutical companies and other potential clients in the natural ingredients market. This position requires a strong understanding of the unrefined shea butter industry, excellent communication and negotiation skills, and a proven track record of exceeding sales targets.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy for unrefined shea butter, targeting pharmaceutical companies and other potential clients.
  • Conduct market research to identify new client opportunities and stay updated on industry trends.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients.
  • Lead the client procurement process, ensuring we source high-quality unrefined shea butter that meets client specifications.
  • Negotiate and finalize contracts with clients, securing the best possible terms for the company.
  • Oversee sales transactions, ensuring timely deliveries and client satisfaction.
  • Manage and motivate a team of sales representatives (if applicable).
  • Monitor sales performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Prepare regular sales reports and presentations.
  • Travel domestically and internationally to attend industry events and meet with clients (as needed).

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, International Trade, or a related field (preferred).
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in sales management, preferably in the natural ingredients or commodities industry.
  • Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and achieving revenue growth.
  • Strong understanding of the unrefined shea butter industry, including its production, grading, and market dynamics.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software (a plus).
  • Experience in international trade (a plus).
  • Fluency in English and additional languages (a plus).
  • Must be a self-motivated and results-oriented individual with a strong work ethic.
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally (as needed).
