Sarmad Khoosat is a brilliant Pakistani director, actor and producer. He has been part of the media industry for more than two decades. Sarmad Khoosat rose to fame through his iconic sitcom Shashlik. He has also appeared in numerous hit television dramas that include Dil Muhalle ki Haweli, Teri Raza, Baghi, Pardes and others. The actor has directed or produced many blockbuster and masterpiece projects including Humsafar, Manto, Shehr E Zaat, Akhri Station, Pani Jesa Piyar & Zindagi Tamasha. The director has also produced Saba Qamar starrer Kamli which was loved by the film lovers.
Lately, the actor is upset about the injustice that has recently been done to him. Well, Sarmad Khoosat was supposed to be given the presidential award this year for his long-standing career as a film and drama maker but his name was removed from the upcoming achievers’ list.
He took it to Instagram, Sarmad wrote, “SITARA-I-IMTIAZ RANDOM FUN FACT | NEWS. UPDATE 4. My name has been vanished from ‘the 14th August ’23 list’ of Presidential Awards that everyone ‘officially’ and unofficially congratulated me for. Sorry, please take your Mubaraks back. Bhaee yeh mai nay khud tou nahii bana li thii list. And as far as I remember (from the year I got the PP) the list disclosed on the 14th of August is the finalised list unless the recipient refuses to accept the award”. Have a look at the post:
Sarmad Khoosat’s fans are super angry after this injustice with the actor. His fans are saying, ‘he has done more for the country and its image more than these influentials, and anybody who has seen his work can attest to this fact!’. Fans thanked Sarmad for his incredible services to the entertainment industry. They are of the view that it is the worst thing that has ever happened to an artist who has invested his life in art and entertainment and has produced unlimited hit films and dramas.
