Justice Minister, MULAMBO HAIMBE says war crimes and crimes against humanity have the capacity to cripple economies of various countries across the world including Zambia.
Mr. HAIMBE says it is for this reason that government remains committed to taking proactive measures to prevent illegalities such as hate speech which is one of the major causes.
He said this during the launch of the Zambian Committee on the Prevention of Genocide, War Crimes, Crimes against Humanity and all forms of Discrimination.
Mr. HAIMBE urged citizens to use social media wisely, adding that with the advent of modern technology, hate speech, a catalyst for genocide, can spread rapidly.
