Job Overview

  • The Visual Screenwriter and Content Strategist is responsible for crafting compelling video narratives and visual assets, driving brand engagement and marketing goals.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Develop an annual content pillar schedule for LifeBank, focusing on enhancing engagement and driving lead acquisition.
  • Develop visually captivating scripts and guided-narrative storytelling questions for commemorative days, events, promotional videos, products (apps), and other social media content.
  • Collaborate with graphic designers, video production teams, and other stakeholders to enhance visual storytelling and ensure alignment with marketing objectives.
  • Utilize imagery, metaphors, and visual cues to engage and captivate diverse audiences, leveraging the power of visual storytelling to convey brand messages effectively.
  • Craft copies and materials to enhance LifeBank’s engagement with stakeholders, including blog posts, press releases, and instructional manuals (both print and video formats).
  • Adapt visual elements for different platforms, languages, and cultural contexts, ensuring content resonates with global audiences.
  • Revise visual assets based on feedback to maintain quality and brand consistency, continuously refining content to optimize performance.
  • Actively participate in brainstorming sessions and creative discussions to generate innovative ideas and concepts for multimedia content that align with LifeBank’s objectives and target audience preferences. Manage content planning

Requirements
Educational Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Visual Arts, Creative Writing, Communications, Journalism or related field.

Experience:

  • 4-6 years of proven experience in screenwriting, visual storytelling, or related roles, with a focus on creating compelling visual assets and working with a video production team.

Skills and Abilities:

  • Exceptional writing skills, with the ability to craft visually engaging scripts and guided-narrative storytelling questions.
  • Collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams, including graphic designers and video production teams.
  • Creativity and strategic thinking to develop innovative visual content ideas and campaigns.
  • Adaptability to tailor visual elements for different platforms, languages, and cultural contexts.
  • Attention to detail and ability to revise visual assets based on feedback to ensure quality and brand consistency.

  • Detail-oriented with a focus on delivering high-quality content.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Salary
N290,000 – N300,000 / month.
