MOTHER NABBED FOR ASSAULT ON DAUGHTER

A 24-year-old mother of Nakonde has been arrested for allegedly assaulting her five-year-old daughter who reportedly ate and finished the relish she (mother) had cooked.

Joyce Mubanga, of Ntindi village, was arrested on Tuesday after she allegedly assaulted her daughter.

Mubanga’s neighbour Elizabeth Mulenga, 27, reported the alleged assault to the police.
